    The first day of the user group conference features Maximo presentations from IBM and end-users. After the presentations, a Sponsor Expo and Social is held with drinks and appetizers providing the opportunity to connect with fellow Maximo users. The second day provides optional workshops specific to Maximo for end-users.

    Day 2 Maximo Training – optional (May 8)

    The second day provides hands-on training specific to Maximo end-users. The additional cost of each session is $175 and may be selected during registration. Seating is limited and is only available to end-users. Sessions are hands-on and participants will need to bring a device.

    8AM Workshop presented by Cohesive: Fundamentals of Maximo Application Suite (MAS) - Manage

    The New Maximo Application Suite (MAS) is available, and Maximo 7.6 will soon reach end-of-support.  Wanting to see what’s different in the new Maximo Manage and get a look at the new skin? New to Maximo and want to learn how to navigate around and try out some of the basic features?  Join us for a hands-on overview of MAS 8 with the Maximo Manage fundamentals course.  Included will be an overview of Maximo Manage, Start Centers, Application Navigation and Basic Querying. Bring your laptop for this 2.5 hour hands-on learning workshop. Breakfast is included with this workshop.

    11AM Workshop presented by Cohesive: Building Maximo Workflows That Work!

    Bring your laptop for this 2.5 hour hands-on learning and we’ll explore automating business processes using Maximo workflows including: An introduction to workflow within Maximo; Advantages to using workflow, and associated best practices; Requirements needed to build an effective workflow; Review of the configuration options used to develop workflows (node types and purposes, start/stop workflows, workflow administration); Components which can be used to manage workflows effectively (communication templates, roles, actions and action groups). Lunch is included with this workshop.

    2PM Workshop presented by MRM-EAM Consulting: IBM Maximo Mobile Overview

    Join us for an overview of IBM Maximo Mobile for end users, emphasizing its front-end functionality through a guided walkthrough. This training workshop will be divided into two segments: a 1.5-hour session for lecturing and walkthrough, followed by an additional 1 hour dedicated to hands-on practice.

    Bring your mobile device and laptop for hands-on exercises focusing on a Work Order Inspection scenario including how to view and update a Work Order, status changes, logging labor hours, and updating work logs. Additionally, we will cover conducting an Inspection linked to the Work Order. Lunch is included with this workshop.

    Call for Papers: CanMUG is now accepting end user presentation proposals for our next meeting in Calgary, at the Hudson, September 10-11, 2024.

    Your user community wants to hear from you! Speaking in person at CanMUG helps foster a community of users. We all like hearing from other users and their experiences. Your story will be interesting to others, so please consider presenting at the meeting.

    Submit your abstract: End users email proposals to steeringcommittee@canmug.org .  Include the proposal title and content, the speaker's name, company, and contact information.  Vendors submitting an abstract must include their end user's information as the key presenter.  End user speakers receive a free pass to Day 1 Presentations. 

    Day 1 Presentations and Networking: Featuring Maximo presentations from IBM and end users. After the presentations a sponsor reception is held with light appetizers, providing the opportunity to connect with fellow end users.
